>>4082624I had promised a friend to go down to Cardiff yesterday and hadn't managed to hike up to Cadair Idris in the south of Snowdonia yet. There was rain firecast for Thursday noon so I decided I'd take the first bus from Aberystwyth, hike up, take a few pictures of the lakr and then rush back to catch the bus back to the station before the rain set in. Worked out surprisingly well, only Cadair Idris was shrouded in clouds. Started raining about 5 min before my bus back to Machinlleth came. Only occasion where I think I would've really regretted not brining the 10-24 mm.
