>>3706263Fresh flexicolor lorr concentrate has a good shelf life, its always part C that goes off first which contains the CD-4 developing agent. Part A is just the alkali and doesnt go off, and part B is hydroxylamine sulfate and lasts as well. Bleach doesnt go off, it just gets reduced and used up. Bleach also lasts longer if you use a stop bath after C-41 dev (going straight to bleach acts a stop in the normal process, though defintely use stop and wash with ferricyanide, I think it stains if you go straight from dev to ferricyanide) and wash, as there is not much carryover dev reducing the bleach and alakli increasing the pH.
If you can find a source for the dry CD-4 crystals, which you probably if youre in the U.S. I can post a good C-41 approximate recipe, though Im not sure if its any cheaper than replenishing at home with flexicolor. Also Im not sure what flexicolor dev is available now, Fuji dev would work too, just use their manuals to work out replenishment per roll.
Here is the bleach formula used in ECN2, I always just eyeball it since it cant be overdone only underdone and leave it in for a while (it needs agitation though to be done completely), you can use sodium chloride or potassium bromide as substitutes for sodium bromide.
Sodium chloride will turn the developed silver back to sliver chloride instead of silver bromide, thats the only difference, fixer removes it just fine.
