>>2900920Depends a lot on what film you're using, but I feel like digital is one "format" ahead of film in terms of the amount of detail you can get. 35mm digital seems to be closer to MF film, and MF digital is more comparable to 4x5. that's probably a simplistic analogy that will make a lot of people mad, but that's just what I've seen.
There are some very sharp 35mm films though, like

But as sharp as they are, i don't think either of those films out-resolve digital, unless you jump to MF.
