Just shot my first roll of film, it was kodacolor200. This is also my first ever camera that's not attached to a phone so I'm also trying to get to grips with photography in general as well.
I'm having the time of my life, but I quickly realised 200 speed is kinda shit because I can't really shoot indoors and it's always cloudy and the days are super short here in central europe.
What higher speed film do you guys recommend to a newfag? I've got my mind set on lomography 800 as it's affordable and I prefer the colour palette to ultramax 400, as well as being higher speed.
Will I just waste a roll of Tri-X at the moment? I absolutely adore its look but I know it's very unforgiving with regards to exposure. Or would it be a good learning tool?
And is it worth buying the new canon nifty fifty or will a used old one suffice? The old ones go for quite a hefty price used so they're only £20 cheaper so I thought I may as well buy the new one if it's worth that difference in price.
