>>4185539Nobody is drunk or on drugs when I take their photo. I do think my work raises questions on what hedonism actually is though.

>>4185606Mad thing is people have had that same argument against all art since the start. Bet some iron age lad like you said that exact thing about the Cerne giant or something like that. It's cool to just say you don't like it.
>>4185626Cheers anon
No leeches that I've been told but the woman in the swan photo said she went home with green slime in her knickers.
>>4185638Thanks anon, appreciate it. I only work with people who approach me, just lucky I guess and have a good reputation.
>>4185657Starter hating then did a full 360, kek. Appreciate this comment so much.
>>4185685>>4185726I think these are pretty cool, technically sound but imagine you had a lot of digital help with them whether that be AF, exposure or editing. Second one is way too blue. Trouble with them, for me, is that they're forgettable and they don't have any personality. That and I imagine 100 people have done that same shot before. Safe, tried and tested, windows background image shot by a youtube tutorial. The subjects are really good and I love getting /out/ I just wish they made me feel anything, I suppose.
>inb4 "waaah seething triggered"Just giving an actual opinion
>>4185713Haven't really looked through a lot of Goldin's work although I've seen the odd image here and there but I was under the impression that it's more documentary. Might cop a book of hers or something. I chat to Miller a bit online after he gave me a shout to say he liked my stuff, I really like his PP work but hadn't seen a lot of it before that. Definitely doing something interesting and is a decent funny guy, seems a bit all over the place at the minute. Really like his abstract still life work but know he's also great with models. I think his work feels a lot more LA whereas mine definitely feels more English, nobody ever looks cold in his photos.
