Fortunately after the outlawing of DDT and drastic and effective conservation efforts, their numbers have risen to healthy numbers and they are now plentiful. You literally cannot go to the shore line now and not see like 12 of them diving for fish at any given time of day. It's absolutely beautiful to see.
