>>2678642Shutter was 1/5000th at f/4 and ISO 400 for the last one I posted, and 1/1000 at f/5.6 and ISO 100 for the one with the cine crop. Body was a D3S for both BTW, I miss that camera. I generally shoot aperture priority for head-on shots like this, so that's why the SS is a weird number.
Looking at it, I agree that the vignette is kind of crummy. I would have edited these mostly in Color Efex Pro, so one of its presets probably added it. This was the Monterey Historics 2012 so my memory is kind of hazy, and a lot of these were banged out really quickly to get same-day updates up for the blog I was shooting with. One of the great shames of pro sports work is that you have to rush out whatever's decent from a day where you may have shot 10k+ photos, and you don't find the truly great pictures until far later.
