>>3831058Olympus OM-1 by far. They're cheap as chips, lightweight, fairly sturdy, very reliable (and repairable) lots of knowledge base around them, and there's a LOT of good lenses available second hand for em at reasonable prices.
Most Nikon 35mms seem fairly pricey these days. Unless you already have a Nikon digital camera and lenses you can share between the two they're not great value for money anymore.
