That's correct. But only becaus eCanon is too strong in APS-C dslr and APS-C mirrorless.

In "FF ILC" however, that's a different matter.

When you want to overthrown a mighty corporation like Canon, you have to take more drastic measures.

Their own 85mm is excellent, and the 135 and 24 are better than anything Canon offers. So it's not like they suck. This is more like something you wish.

This isn't true Anon.
Leica, Panasonic, Sigma have a combined 1% FF marketshare in 2019

Pentax holds the other 1% of the 2% slice.

It's a specific niche camera. If you know you need its video features, then you know what you want.

The only real drawback is the L-mount alliance is only 2% of the market, So the only "affordable" lenses you will get is from Sigma.
