Since then, photography feels different to me, in a better way, I'd say. Not wasting shots on garbage, actually thinking before shooting, enjoying the much slower process, etc. Now I own several full manual Pentax cameras and a few Minoltas.
I'd suggest either the Minolta SRT series,(the lenses are cheaper) or a Pentax Spotmatic (the lenses are slightly more expensive, but way better imo).
Avoid the mainstream models such as the AE1, unless you are willing to pay more.
