tl;dr why is it when I shoot manual, I get a ton of grain/noise? Will post follow up pictures as samples.
A bit of context, I'm a freediver and I'm only interested in taking pictures underwater (for now).
I've been using a GoPro Hero5 for the past 2-3 years. I mostly take pictures of other divers, turtles, or large fishes. I edit/color correct them using Lightroom.
Pic related, I'm too lazy to stitch them together in photoshop, but that should give you an idea of what kind of pictures I take.
Also pic related, there's only so much I can do in post with the pictures taken from my GoPro. All those images used to be totally green, specially with the Whaleshark - you can clearly see how horrible the quality and the color is - this one was almost 100% green.
