>>2581154That's a shame to hear that the region doesn't support photography very well. My first few art fairs were quite lousy, but my sales tactics and customer approach has really improved. Booth presentation is a huge factor as well. It's easy to get dwarfed by the photographer selling oversaturated HDR train photos with a double booth, bright spotlights and giant canvas prints. Your average consumer gets sucked into that stuff like nothing else. I do best in the locations where I have niche like plains photos. My shows in the mountain towns don't do very well in comparison.
>>2581155Luckily the camera came with the center filter designed for the lens, which really make the camera a steal at the price. It's the 105 f8 lens that's built into the g617. Either way I've still found that negatives seem to shift to a pale blue in the edges, most notable on low contrast scenes like snow or sky. The image I posted above did alright because it was quite contrasty.
A local park, I just love this place anyway during the one week of blossoms. Provia.
