>>3080740You're right that we shouldn't trust browser resampling, but what I like most in photography is the details - I love peering at every nook and cranny and seeing how they work in concert to form the image. It's not for everyone but I'd much rather present my images in a format where people who are inclined like myself can look as closely as they want. I can limit to pedestrian resolutions or present my pictures how I think they should be seen.
>>3080815Yes, as I said, if you don't want to then don't. But looking at my pictures isn't about helping me, I just like to spread my visual appreciation in the hopes that it resonates with someone. If that's not for you or certain viewers that's fine, but I hope for some people like myself who uses /p/ to seek out multifarious ways of composing and presenting the world it's right to present them how you sincerely want them to be seen.
