When I got it fucking really nice tripod. Big thing I wanted was something that would fold down small as shit so I can put it on the outside of my bag. It seems pretty nice. I had no desire whatsoever to look for a carbon fiber tripod. I see no advantage for the little weight a tripod this small takes up. I mean a carbon fiber would be lighter for sure but if the difference between a steel/aluminum or a carbon fiber tripod is worth more than $100-200 then you need bigger arms. I'm not even a gym bro and I can't see why it'd be worth the cash on one this small.
