>>2999809It's a really really good lens. Was top of the line in its era. Sickeningly sharp (usable 100% crops sharp), the bokeh is very very smooth and the build quality and function is smooth and like a Cadillac. Also, some people say the rendering is different because it was before Canon changed their coatings and glass type.
Only downside is no IS and the weight. It's really heavy, but not as much as I was reading, before I got it. It's a stable-heavy. But it might be too top-heavy for a 70D.
