This is not the best photo of the year I've taken. It's just a bad scan of it.

But I prefer it that way.

The real thing exists only in one place.

Slides are so much better in person - like little stained glass windows into a moment. Backlit - they glow with true light rather than reflected light from a print.

I've been meaning to shoot more of it - I just haven't found the time.

Probably technically underexposed but I still like it. Especially backlit.

I just wish the scanner matched what the slide looks like. The lab gave me shit and that's so poor it can't even be fixed.
