Yes. Many times.

• Pretend I was taking a photo of something behind them.
• Look annoyed that they're in the way.
• Tell them they're looking good.
• Just look straight at the camera as if I'm checking the shot and walk off.
If they get pissy I tell them that I can take photos wherever I want, provided I'm on public property. I don't mind lecturing people about section 44 of the anti-terrorism act. I've even had to tell police officers before.

I'll be honest, I usually only shoot people who arent looking directly at me, but I do occasionally. I dont generally get closer than 10 feet. Kind of a puss at street.
