>>3266543>Why do you still shoot film?Because I'm a poorfag. I have a smartphone, which is not a good tool for serious photo shooting, and my father's SLR with two lenses. Spending 10 bucks for a pair of 36 exposures rolls then another 20 to develop them every few months is not a problem, shelling out a few hundred bucks if not a thousand or more for a new DSLR is infeasible.
Also, I've tried it and I had fun, and some photos came out very nicely for being a first try ever.
I tried a friend's DSLR (a Nikon D7500) and it was an impressive machine, but I also think it was just too much.
I kinda like the simplicity and the limitations of shooting film with a manual focus camera: it makes each shot an interesting and fun process, having limited shots available makes you think more before shooting, and having no other way but to stick with the results makes each picture special.
