get out of that bubble of yours and get into the real world. when lenses are manufactured, refraction, diffraction, reflection values control, tonality control, tonal transition smoothness preservation and chromaticity quality, EACH require having an additional step in the manufacturing process and you fucking guessed it; that costs money, A LOT of money. especially for the machinery and tooling. some manufacturers make up for it in product price increase, some make up for it by sacrificing somewhere else in the manufacturing process, some save money by choosing to spend on only 3 out of 6 or on 4 out of 6 processes and then lastly, you have companies like sigma or samyang who completely fucking ignore every single one of these (and dont even do some of the steps, e.g tonality control or additional aberration control) and would rather pocket that money while also keeping their products ''cheap''. like its that fucking simple.
sigma, samyang and tamron are nothing but huge marketing schemes for consumer grade customers who think image quality =

Deakins and Richardson aka. two of the biggest fucking names in the film industry, literally exclusively shoot specifically and only with Cooke, Zeiss and Leica lenses ONLY AND SOLELY BECUSE of this exact fucking reason.
