Its a short film(3-5min) set in a single room so I schedule a single day shoot(this may be my first major mistake). Never directed, which I assume I will pick it up as I ago but how am I supposed to start the day? Do we just read the the script as a group first, rehearse the scene(this is call blocking right?) and then we try for realsies right?
Is there a guide? Only other experience was 48 hour film thing and without experience I can tell it was a shit show and everyone was doing it wrong. Have also filmed several video ads for local business but I its was me just interviewing them essentially.
