So I'm taking my first step towards more serious photography by investing in a better camera. I'm currently planning on buying a Nikon D3300, even though a lot of sites have told me that mirrorless cameras are pretty much better in all regards at my price point (entry level). My rationale for my choice is that picking a DSLR is worth it for the better image quality (even if it's only marginal) and much larger lens selection (which will also be transferable if I decide to upgrade in the future). Can anyone give me a reason why I should in fact go for a mirrorless camera?
Picture unrelated (something that might have looked less shitty if it wasn't taken on a phone)
