>>3145011>Sony pretty much said that they are going to abandon it.Sony has repeatedly said they WONT abandon it. It has been around since 1985 though and is a very mature mount. Sony is focusing resources on filling out their mirrorless for now.
Your cheapest move to a new mount would be going e-mount and adapting all your a-mount lenses. You get full autofocus, even with the screw mount lenses.
Plus you can adapt pretty much any lens from any mount and get fullspeed autofocus with them.
