Pic related is to the right of the previous picture, it's more exposed faces from the Basalts. Notice here that the land beneath the exposed face is sloped leading to it, but not as extremely as the more recent slide. It also has much more vegetation.
Magmas don't tend to cool in perfectly vertical stacks like a building, since they flow over one another, so seeing an exposed face like this usually indicates a past landslide or fault, and since the slope beneath it is less inclined and has more vegetation this landslide is estimated to be much older.
