>>3183375>>3183350>>3183333>>3183014>We need to go deeper!I have a cheap 2x teleconverter now. This photo is not cropped. It is resized down from 6000x4000. The body was on a tripod, but everything else was held together with my hands. The setup was:
D3400 Body (1.5x Crop Factor) > 2x Teleconverter > 10.75" Paper Tube > 68mm Extension Tube Set>Reversed 18-55mm Lens (Set To 18mm)
The entire top of a single color chevron in this image should be about 140microns wide. The entire area in the image, from left to right, should be roughly 0.672mm wide. Note that these calculations may be off by a factor of two, being two times smaller. It takes 3 of those colors together to make a single pixel on this screen. I could barely see this in the viewfinder. The DOF was razor thin. I had to take continous photos then sift through and see what was usable. This was the only one out of 50 that was even remotely in focus. Of 1 color there are 5 sets of paired stripes, 10 strips in all. So, you can see just how blurry this is, since there's nearly an extra set of ghosted stripes. I upped the brightness and added some contrast in post. Remember, what you see here are the white bright pixels of a PC monitor. It is backlit and still needs brightening.
