Why is it not possible to create a special micro contrast Testchart or Testpicture.
Is the skin effect that Leica has on darker skins a typical sign of great Microcontrast?

But I think there needs to be a way to measure that quality of a Lens objectivaly and quantify it.
That would be a milestone in gearfaggory if this would be new thing to obsess about and not onl y sharpness and CA.
If it turns out to be true and measurable and gearheads would start to obsess about it, that could redirect the whole industry.
