I'm looking to pick up a used Fuji X lens (56mm 1.2), and I'm wondering whether doing so is generally a good idea?
Okay I get that it depends on the actual condition of the lens in question, but I've never bought used lenses, much less used camera gear at all.
I figure used old manual lenses, if they're mold free etc., would be hassle free because of their analog nature but what about these half motorized, computer-chip riddled modern mirrorless lenses?
Is there more risk in buying this new stuff in general? I don't have the experience to judge the quality of a used lens, tbh.
