Sonysisters, after noticing some weird banding in 2 photos out of 1000 (both already-high ISO +1ev pushes) and suspecting fowl plait i did a quick test with lens caps and found something weird: In-camera lens corrections affect raws. This is definitely vignetting correction cooked into .arw files. I didn't see anything with distortion correction... yet. There is no vignetting correction applied in capture one.

This is the A7R III, test this with your lens cap on and the settings on or off. Then turn the camera corrections off, and start shopping for a nikon/leica. Such a shame. Sony does auto iso-min shutter the way I like it.
If anyone else wants to try this test (just shooting a lens cap with corrections on/off and then pushing the exposure) go ahead.
