This one is one of a set of RAW images I took of a landscape for an HDR render. On site I already got the idea to process it via my camera's RAW-processing abilities.
I think it turn out better right off the cam than the HDR I made of the set later. The colours seem more natural, The clouds are more visible, the rays are more satisfying, etc.
What is it that makes this image so much better than even three times the brightness information from the HDR can't bring in?
