don't get too sentimental with the gear though, if you really don't need it then sell it off, really just becomes a liability keeping it. I had a 17-35/2.8 that I used to use for work but never for travelling with, but I figured I could just rent a better alternative for a lot cheaper and spend the money elsewhere like travel and investments
