>>4132626the k1 was not the camera for me and i doubt its the camera for most people especially at $700-1000 (and more for the shittier version 2). the fake shift lens functionality is really limited, anyone who was serious about that effect would probably just buy a T/S lens, of which the K1 has a few shitty third party ones. astrotracer also falls apart with telephotos and i think stacked exposures and a little cropping would be just as good since astrotracer blurs the foreground anyways. it was fun to have an actual good digital camera after years of nothing but a rusty agfa silette, a lolympus film SLR, and shittier digital cameras but after the novelty wore off the cheap sony I originally turned down started looking more appealing with being half the size and having 100x more support and reliable info available. and you know what? this thing is fucking great. glad i picked it over the xh2 since i never do video anyways.
the only two things i miss from pooptacks are how bulb mode and program mode worked and the tilting screen assembly. as for the rest i'm 100% convinced that mirrorless >>>>>>> DSLR.
