I've had a discussion today where I'd like /vid/'s input.
In the following weeks there will be a 48 hour project where we make a random short film.
We only know the subject matter at the start of the 48 hour.
Which camera is best suited for short film that could be about anything that has to be made within 48 hours.
>Canon 5D Mark III or Panasonic GH4
>GH4 to EF adapter
>Canon 50mm F1.2 L
>Canon 16-35mm F2.8 L
>Canon 24-70mm F2.8 L
>DJI Ronin 1
I personally would choose the Canon 5D because its batteries last longer and we don't know if we are stranded in the woods or something. Full frame so no crop.
he short film has to be rendered in 1080p.
The GH4 does have 4k, higher bitrate, slow-mo, V-log and is compact.
Which camera would you choose and why?
