I shot in AE all day and sometimes the shutter would shoot in bulb (hence the overexposed shot at the top), the sometimes all the higher shutter speeds (1/125th and up) would only shoot at 1/1000th. It seemed to be working fine when I was playing around with it at home.
All speeds including AE work as bulb now

www.mcs-web.jp/cle_03.html who specializes in repairing the CLE. Can't send it back to the seller because I bought it on yahoo auctions then used a proxy service to ship it to me in Australia. Guess you can't trust google translate 100% of the time.
But hey I hope ya enjoy the festival I'd love to visit Japan one day.
