>>3735036>Inversion is inversion. Removal of color cast from the film base is a completely different topic. So to answer a question how to make a positive out of a negative you just told the guy to ctrl+i, great. Im sure he’ll be pleased with the results. Oh, that blue shit? Just auto everything dude.
The state of /p/.
> Nobody cares about your ridiculous idea of film purismPlenty people care, maybe its news for you but film is going through a kind of revival, precisely because people want that „look”.
Color correction on film is equivalent to grinder and paint in welding. Youre just trying to hide the fact that you have absolutely no idea what the fuck you are doing.
If i would want 100% color accuracy i would shoot digital, i dont. I want 100% pure, untouched negative inverted using noritsu algorithm. Shooting film in 2020 is excercise in emulating ’90s nostalgia, going for that „something”. If youre trying to use film like you would use a digital camera- youre just doing it wrong.
> Warm lighting, warm photoOh, ok, you really dont know what youre talking about. I posted two photos on two stocks. One is sensitive to warm colors, the other is not. Its that simple. With film purism you introduce another hurdle in the workflow, another thing to worry about. If thats not your thing, good, stick to digital. But dont pretend that youre a photographer, ok kid?
