>>4339029I dunno, for mirrorless APS-C I only ever used Sony cameras, starting from my good old NEX-6 back then (pic related), and then to an a6300. Should still be serviceable for cheap even today, but I don't have enough knowledge about what the competition is doing these days to tell you what to buy or not, you'll have to figure it out yourself, anon. But rather than a camera per se, you should look first into what lens ecosystem you want to go, be it Canon, Nikon, Sony, Fuji or whatever. I know it's hard for a beginner to start from the lenses, but again, it's the ecosystem that matters, and the lenses' prices. Despite not being the cheapest, I choose to go to E-mount back then because I knew I would upgrade to Full Frame at some point, and E-mount already allowed to use FF and APS-C lenses interchangeably on any of its cameras, making an upgrade path smoother, and most importantly, it was and still is quite welcoming of third party lens manufacturers, which means a lot of choice and competition. This is why I went with this mount, but you may seek something else, it's all personal.
