I got my hands on another copy of the Pentax Q 01 lens and it is much better at f/1.9 than the other two I have owned. This finally validates this camera system for me. I've always wanted to like the Q, but having a soft prime lens was a deal breaker.
Old 01 lens on top, random Canon powershot for comparison in the middle, and new-to-me 01 lens on bottom. All wide open.
Nerdy test shots but this is a gear thread after all.
Anybody else shooting with a Q system these days?
