yeah it would have been better if it were a unusably blurry missed shot because you were playing games with snap focus, or if it never happened because your ricoh GR crapped out after getting somewhat wet i guess?
compact digital sales cratered when phones got "ok" because no amount of IQ can replace the camera's absence or some fiddly shit like ricoh's crap ui and crappier autofocus. a phone just works. no skill issue photography-as-a-sport bs ending in ruined shots because you were one handing it while drinking at a party. oh and with a phone you can drink at parties, without worrying about being too hammered to work your ricoh or keep it safe.
if you're going to use a serious camera, take it seriously and use a dslr/leica styled MILC with effortless autofocus and ergonomic controls you can work on the fly without fucking up or saying "ahahaha skill issue maybe next time". it really sad but between phones and pro/prosumer MILCs nothing else is as good at
