Huge one is resolution, it's the only reason they're nearly out of pro league. Minor ones are high iso, and low light performance, but lens lineup, bokeh quality, depth of field, and unusable iso at telephoto?! That's their strength! Because of the size, lenses are cheaper to make, so you're seeing unheard amount of lens elements in them that keep cr down, and maintain image output very high.
