Smartphone cameras leverage stacking, subject detection and processing to an extent current mirrorless does not, and there is no way the technology that enhances smartphone camera capabilities will be left out of interchangeable lens cameras for much longer. There are still many limitations, and there are many things smartphone users could forgive that will have to be fixed before photographers will accept the shift, but something big is coming.
