I recently bought a Sony A7, and I have seen a lot of discussion talking about it having really poor battery life, but in all that I have used it so far its battery life has seemed to exceed my expectations, I shot on it intermittently throughout the day yesterday span of 5am to 8PM with the longest shoot lasting over 2 hours with it turned on the entire shoot and the battery lasted me all the way through earlier today and I didn't even start with a full charge yesterday.
Do people just forget to turn it off when they aren't using it or am I missing something?
