Sure you can find pretentious art films but you can't find the same ratio of success to /artistrly/skill/effort as you do with some of these photographers. Look at jodorowsky bullshit, you can say what ever you want about it but at some point he had to go off into a desert with a small crew and make a movie.

And celebrities know of him the same way they know some obscure overpriced brand of mouthwash that is only sold to celebrities as a luxury item. But show any of his pictures to an actual normie walking down the street and they have no idea who took this picture, given the quality theyd probably assume its a fan taking a photo at a concert or something.
