>>2909461My favorite lens so far is probably the 31mm limited. it retails for $1100 but I picked it up used for about $700.
Stupidly sharp when stopped down, and really good for pixel shift. the only drawbacks are the built-in lens hood that you can't remove and lack of weather sealing, but otherwise the lens is built like a tank.
I like using the pixel shift mode, but I always take one with and one without because:
-I like editing in lightroom and it doesn't support motion correction
-the digital camera utility does support it, but it's horrible and motion correction doesn't always work well.
What I do is edit both the normal and pixel shift raws together in lightroom and then in photoshop, mask out the pixel shift shot with the normal shot wherever there are weird artifacts. Takes longer this way and eats up a fuckton of space (the pixel shift raws can be about 150mb each) but I have more control over the final image.
Otherwise, everything else about the camera is great. the tilting screen is especially useful. If you want a cheaper option though, the k-70 apparently has all these features for less than half the price of the k1, albeit with a crop sensor.
