Ones that worked out were 1/250 or faster, everything in that 1/60-1.5sec range (where most of the really exciting leaves & rocks live) shows a heap of blur.
I was using girthy tripod and self timer. The 30V has a mirror lockup function which works fine for macro where the camera is mounted to the tripod, but I really think the answer is a shot-bag or something to damp the camera.
Any thoughts?
