This thread has reminded me how important it is that I scan my family's big collection of glass plates from the Edwardian period. Many of them are studies for paintings of Edwardian life that my Great Great Grandfather took or hired a photographer take. There's also what seems like very early film slides but most of them are stuck together and probably a lost cause.
