Every company is dead in the water except canon and Sony, and as those two companies have a monopoly on sensors, that's the way it's going to stay for the foreseeable future, Sony are the only one of the 2 to sell their sensors, and they've been pushing their prices up higher and higher.
You'd have to be a moron to consider anything but canon and Sony these days.
