This basically confirms what I already thought. Provia is better in shitty light and Velvia is better in good light. I wonder if Velvia 100 would be a good medium between the two in crappy light since it doesn't have the red-enhancing 'flaw'.
In both cases I think the no/UV filter was the best. I was surprised to see a difference from the UV filter on Provia. If I had to only bring one filter for color film, I'd bring an 81A for crappy light and use no filter in good light. The 812 looked better in good light but I would really use no filter then.
