>>3872405I shot this wedding the other week. Everything manual in the camera but the flash was in ETTL for this. Because a wedding is such a dynamic environment it would just waste too much time to keep fiddling with it for every shot. So I basically dial in the look i want in camera - how much depth of field, how well i want the background to be exposed etc, and then the flash will expose the focal point correctly. I had to bump the exposure compensation a couple times when it was thrown off by a completely white or black background or something.
In a more chill environment i would have the flash in manual too. I like to have complete control.
