1. Full time U.S. Marine Corps 4541 combat photographer. (in training till next week)
2. All depends on where i get stationed and what they have me do. im leaving next week for 2MARDIV in North Carolina so there is a good chance I'll get to go shoot real combat.
3. training is 3 months (untill october, the mos is changing and its gonna be 6 months) and we learn everything from basic how to use you camera stuff, composition stuff, studio photography, combat/action photography (obviously), photo stories and portraits come last. you also get to go out into baltimore, DC, and even virginia to shoot.
all and all, really fun. plus military. All the branches have photographers (mostly army) but the marines are the best. (like everything we do.) 45XX's are called unicorns a lot though, its a tough mos to get. i waited 8 months for it.
