The few lenses with scales in the mount have fairly useless ones. Who cares about a little extra DoF when your lens racks back and forth trying to lock onto something while the moment plays out and ends?
Quickly changing exposure variables for changing light is also nearly impossible.
Might be enough for cosplayers and flowers, but not fast enough to put bread on the table. Don't lie to yourself.
