It's just /p/ though. In the real world, people recognize that it's a perfectly capable camera. If you're not in low light, it's F I N E. If you ARE in low light, either get some fast glass, a tripod or figure it out. It's just the a6000 fetish this board has that leads people to bash the t3i.
as for the kit lens, I'm a fan of them because I think they're great bang for buck and versatile.
