I don't really understand this since I both adjusted exposure to avoid blowing out parts except of few smaller spots and only intentionally overexposed some parts in post production for final "dynamic" effect. So I should rather avoid such approach? I do admit that I often have problems with evenly lighting whole object due to it's small size and how I try to separate it from, ideally unlit, background.
